memorial !

Has anyone seen or got any photographs of a memorial just inside the main entrance to WIGAN INFIRMARY listing all donations to the Hospital going back many ,many years ?????

I've seen it, it lists all the names and donations they made. From large companies to individuals and quite a few names are well known around town. I am going to the infirmary tomorrow but I think it is to large to photograph. I'll try?

You wouldn't believe the effort that has gone into trying to locate the Gidlow Sisters paintings... No one appears to know anything about them ? If there is a cellar belonging to the NHS or Wigan Council that hasn't been investigated It's well hidden..

In my time at the Infirmary the hospital secretary had a room full of artefacts. It’s possible the paintings are in there. I recall some beautiful silver pieces including the trowels used for the foundation laying ceremony.
